Where we work
Windows and doors for Wellington City
Vantage aluminium and Klima uPVC joinery, made over the hill in Wainuiomata for homes from Tawa and Johnsonville to Karori, Island Bay and Miramar.
Joinery for Wellington weather
Wellington homes take a lot of wind. Vantage designs its sliding doors for clean lines and high performance in windy areas, so a door onto an exposed deck doesn’t have to be a compromise.
Replacing single glazing in an older home? A like-for-like swap to double glazed aluminium usually doesn’t need building consent. Check with your builder or Wellington City Council if you’re unsure.
New builds and renovations
For a new home, the building consent goes through Wellington City Council, and the windows have to meet the H1 energy rules for the city’s climate zone. Send us the plans and we’ll quote joinery that meets them: ThermalHeart+ frames and Low-E double glazing.
Quotes usually take around five working days, and lead times run around eight weeks from acceptance.
