Klima is the uPVC range Vantage offers alongside its aluminium. Klima says it’s the only uPVC maker that designs, extrudes, manufactures and assembles uPVC windows and doors in New Zealand, from its own factory in Christchurch.
The profiles are based on a European series by Kömmerling, adapted for New Zealand conditions.
What you get
- 24 mm double glazed units as standard, with triple glazing as an option
- Tilt-and-turn hardware: open the sash from the side, or tilt it in from the top for a gap of fresh air
- A 4.5 star energy rating under WEERS, the Window Energy Efficiency Rating System, when Klima is used with high performance glazing
Colour
Klima frames come in white. For another colour, Klima’s AluClip system covers the outside with aluminium in a powder coat finish.
Where Klima fits
Klima comes in a standard range of windows and doors, but not as bifolds. If the plan has bifold doors, we’ll match them in aluminium.
Warranty
Klima backs its products with a 10-year warranty. High-use parts such as door rollers, hinges, seals and mohair strips carry a 5-year warranty against material and workmanship failure.
