Vantage powder coat colours come from Dulux Powdercoatings. The popular colour range has 40 colours, and the powder coat systems include Duralloy +PLUS and Protexture, a textured finish.
Black and charcoal frames are everywhere in our gallery, but the range runs well past dark greys. Ask to see colour samples before you decide: a colour in daylight looks different to one on a screen.
Anodised aluminium
Anodising is the other option. Vantage gives anodised coatings a 10-year warranty at 12 microns and 20 years at 25 microns. Special colours and finishes can carry different warranty periods, so check our warranty page and ask when you order.
uPVC colours
Klima uPVC frames are white. Klima’s AluClip system adds an aluminium outer cover in a powder coat colour. See uPVC windows and doors.
Keeping the finish looking right
Wash your joinery every three months with a soft brush, warm water and a little mild household detergent, then rinse with fresh water. Near the coast or around industry, wash more often. Steel wool, scrapers, scouring liquids, strong solvents and thinners all damage the finish.
