Where we work
Windows and doors for Lower Hutt
Our factory and showroom are in Wainuiomata, part of Lower Hutt. We make aluminium windows and doors for homes from Petone and Eastbourne to Naenae and Stokes Valley.
H1 for Lower Hutt
Hutt City Council puts Lower Hutt in climate zone 3 for the H1 energy rules. A new home with a building consent application lodged from 1 May 2023 needs windows and doors of R0.46 or better.
We quote joinery to meet it: ThermalHeart+ frames, AGP Low-E double glazing, and Centrafix recessed installation in Metro Series windows and doors.
Replacing windows in an older home
A like-for-like swap of old windows for new double glazed joinery doesn’t usually need building consent. Talk it through with your builder or Hutt City Council to be sure, and see our page on replacement windows.
